Are you pet friendly?

Yes, pets are allowed. All dogs must be kept on a leash and must be with their owner at all times when outdoors. A non-refundable pet deposit of $50 per stay, per pet is required. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Pet owners will be responsible for paying for any damage caused by their pet or an additional cleaning fee may be charged if the cabin is left excessively dirty because of the pets. Please pick up after them when you walk them outside.

How many people can stay in a single cabin?

Cabins 2, 3, 4 & 6 can accommodate up to 6 people. Cabins 1 & 5 can accommodate up to 8 people.

If we book more than one cabin, can we stay in cabins next to each other?

Yes, we try to accommodate large groups together in neighboring cabins. If for some reason we are unable to accommodate the neighboring cabins, rest assured that the cabins are on the same property in close vicinity.

What is the minimum age required to book a cabin?

We require the responsible party to be 21 years or older.

How many vehicles are allowed per cabin?

Parking is limited to 4 vehicles at the cabins. Park on driveways only. DO NOT park any type of vehicle on grass/dirt.

What do we need to bring with us?

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but in order to keep your cost down, we are not able to provide sheets and towels. We do rent sheets & towels for $5.00/each. You’ll need to bring your own sheets and pillowcases to fit the bed sizes available in the cabin(s) you’ve rented. Please also bring beach & showering towels, hair dryer, dish towels, Keurig pods for the Keurig, charcoal for BBQ, wood for the outdoor fireplace, lawn chairs and any other river supplies/gear you think you might need.

What is items are provide during our stay?

We stock each cabin with 1 roll of paper towels, coffee filters, Folger’s coffee, dish soap, hand soap for each bathroom, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, trash bags, comforters, pillows, and mattress pads.

Can I rent out a cabin for a month or longer?

Yes, we have monthly rates for those wanting to stay long-term. Please give us a call, (830) 484-8866, for up to date rates and availability.

Do you have quiet hours?

Yes, we want to create a peaceful cabin retreat for all of our guests. Therefore, we strictly enforce quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.

Are you on the Frio River?

No, our Concan cabins are located close by several spots where you can get in the river to float. We are nestled in front of a beautiful hillside surrounded by trees and wildlife.

How good is the cell service at the cabins?

AT&T is one of the only mobile/cellular service that works well in Concan.

Is Concan a dry precinct?

Not anymore, but we advise you to plan ahead and shop before you arrive.

Are glass bottles permitted on the Frio River?

No, glass bottles are not allowed on the Frio River. The same goes for the Hunter’s Ridge Cabins property, including the pool area.

What is the soonest that we can check-in?

We can’t guarantee that your cabin will be ready before 3:00 PM. Our housekeeping teams do their best each day to get everything ready for your stay. We know you will be excited to begin your vacation and your patience is appreciated.

When do we need to check-out?

Check-out is before 11:00 AM. We know it’s hard to leave, but because we have limited time to prepare each cabin for the new check-ins, please be packed up and loaded out before 11:00 AM sharp. If you fail to meet this time, we will be forced to charge a late check-out fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellations made after 12PM (noon) 3 days prior to check-in date & no-shows, one night’s room rate is charged to the credit card on file.

Can I receive a refund if there is bad weather during our planned trip?

No, we cannot control the weather. Your cancellation would be subject to our cancellation policy.
